Our best seller Frida, has had a little make over! From the outside it is exactly the same, in the inside it now comes in a fluo colour! A beautiful bright orange that will become our inside ‘signature’ colour. The new Frida bags now come with a chest strap. We know how wriggly little ones can be so now their bags will stay put!
Frida has always been a big inspiration on my work. Her career but also her life, all the challenges she had to overcome, have been a huge source of inspiration for me. Sometimes challenges make artists stronger, in Frida's case it wasn't necessary the case and her struggles and pain, both physical and psychological, are a very important part of her work. I wanted to celebrate her work but also her life, and our backpack design is an homage to her amazing self-portraits.
Backpacks are suitable for children from 3 years old to carry as a backpack (models in the pictures are 3 & 5 years old). There is also o-rings to attach a shoulder strap for parents to use as a nappy bag and older children to carry it! The inside of the bag is made of water repellent fabric and comes with a cute little name tag.
